SETA and Evisions are happy to announce opportunities for Argos users to receive a full day of technical training on Argos before both 2012 SETA Conferences.  The date for the Argos Mini-Summit in Dallas is Saturday, October 6th 2012 while the Argos Mini-Summit in Indianapolis is Saturday, November 3rd.  The SETA Conferences follow these Argos training days with three more days of learning opportunities on a variety of Higher Education related topics. SETA and Evisions strive to provide the best education possible for institutions with Ellucian solutions. 

Each of these training days will be split up into various sessions covering a range of technical topics and is geared towards DataBlock Designers and Argos Administrators.  Hear from members of Product Development, Professional Services and Sales Engineering on how to get the most out of your Argos implementation. Discover new features of Argos in the Full Toolset and Argos 4.0 Release sessions. Learn about Argos Best Practices. Find out how to build great dashboards containing charts and graphs. See examples of integrating Argos with portals, imaging tools, Appworx scheduling and web pages to leverage existing campus investments by using the Argos API. Learn about Extract Reports and providing information to outsiders such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Argos can also be a powerful Rapid Application Development tool. See what others have done, get recommendations and takeaways regarding using Argos as a development tool. 

Come to the SETA Conference a day early and enjoy a full day of learning about Argos.  Spend a day networking with other Argos users.  Cost is $65 per person if you attend the SETA Conference and $165 if you do not attend the SETA Conference.  Registration for the pre-conference event can be done on the SETA site http://www.setasource.org/ as well as information on the SETA Conferences themselves.
