Keynote Speaker for Evisions Conference Announced
We are honored and excited to announce Dr. Kent Chabotar, President of Guilford College, as the keynote speaker at the March 25th Evisions Conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Chabotar is well known for his many publications relating to Higher Education decision making and strategic planning, including his recent work for the Association of Governing Boards: Strategic Finance: Planning and Budgeting for Boards, Chief Executives and Finance Officers (2006). Dr. Chabotar is nationally recognized for his work in developing effective strategies for Higher Education, and has spoken on the current economic crisis at conferences and events sponsored by the American Council on Education, the Council of Independent Colleges, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the TIAA-CREF Institute. Since 1983, he has been a faculty member at the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education, including the Harvard Seminar for New Presidents. Among his many distinctions, Dr. Chabotar has received the Fussa Distinguished Teaching Award at Harvard and the Distinguished Educator Award for teaching excellence at Michigan State University.
