*** New for Banner 8 ***

A new version of eviadm.pc is necessary for Banner 8. This version will be used in step 4 of the Installation Instructions and step 3 of the Upgrade Instructions. The new file can be downloaded from the FormFusion support page.

Although FormFusion templates are not dependent upon the Banner version, modifications to the Banner baseline code for processes such as TSRCBIL and FPAPORD will occasionally affect the process output. In these cases, minor modifications to the FormFusion templates may be required.

Before moving into the Production environment in the new Banner version, we strongly recommend creating an updated output file (.lis) for processes that use a FormFusion template, then importing it into FormFusion MapForm. After verifying that all floating fields and offset fields are properly mapped, run the Banner process to ensure the form prints correctly. Each Banner process/FormFusion template combination should be tested.

When upgrading Banner, you should check to make sure you are on the latest release of FormFusion.

NOTE: Be careful not to overwrite the current working gjajobs.shl (Unix), gjajobs.com (VMS), or sctban.pm (NT). It is a good idea to create a backup copy of this file before upgrading to a new version of Banner.

• Banner HR 7.x to 8.x – Please submit a Evisions HelpDesk ticket to receive updated files. Allow 10-15 business days
• Banner HR 6.1.x to 7.x – No update required
• Banner HR 6.0.x to 6.1 – Update required. Please submit a Evisions HelpDesk ticket to receive updated files. Allow 10-15 business days.
