Chemeketa
Community College was on the
fast-track to Banner®
implementation in 2001 when
they first became acquainted
with Evisions. With so many
modules coming live in such
a short timeframe, they needed
quick answers to important
printing questions. Evisions
was there to help at crunch-time,
and the relationship has grown
since. |

The
staff at Chemeketa had invested
untold hours behind the scenes
bringing their Banner®
systems on-line. They knew,
however, that much of the
success of their implementation
would be judged by what people
held in their hands. If the
payroll checks, purchase orders,
and student schedules looked
great, then the IT staff had
done a great job. With just
a little bit of time, how
were they to supposed to make
it look like they wanted,
before presenting it to the
world?! |

Chemeketa's
Computer Support Specialist,
Nolan Cobb says, "we
wanted better control over
the forms that came out of
Banner®, so we began to
investigate options that would
offer a format that is much
more appealing to our end-users."
They searched the LISTSERVs,
talked to other users, and
consulted with SunGard Higher Education. They quickly
learned that the only people
with the products and Banner®
experience to help them in
a tight timeline, were the
people at Evisions. |

FormFusion was by far the
best choice, because it met
the challenges that Chemeketa
faced, and offered them countless
ways to create documents that
the college had always wanted.
According to Cobb, "FormFusion
is great…it is built
for Banner® and uses all
of the tools that are already
on our system." He went
on to mention what he believes
is its best feature, "the
seamless integration with
Banner®," allowed
Chemeketa to get quick results
with complete satisfaction. |

Although
the search for printing solutions
initially brought Chemeketa
to Evisions, great service
has kept them coming back.
"I have the highest regards
for Evisions. Our Banner®
implementation was a lot more
successful because of the
great Evisions technical support…I
just can't say enough good
things about them," says
Cobb. The feeling is mutual
in Chemeketa's IT department,
"Evisions offers the
best service…they are
very responsive and always
put in extra effort,"
said Tom Depue, Director of
IT at Chemeketa. Accountant,
Ritze Vick added, "In
my 37 years in data processing,
I have not dealt with a better
group of people than the employees
at Evisions." |

remembers the final days before
Chemeketa's Banner® implementation,
"They have a very knowledgeable
technical staff that is eager
to please their Banner®
users. Given more time, they
could have done it all themselves.
What they were doing, given
the time allotted, was a huge
task for any client. We just
got together with them and
discussed what needed to be
done. Evisions was happy to
fill in the gaps. We've been
there before, so we were glad
to offer products, advice
and technical resources."
