St.
Lucie County in Florida is
one of the fastest growing

As
a result of understanding
the importance of technology,
St. Lucie sought long and
hard for technology that would
grant them the flexibility
to do what they wanted with
their SunGard Higher Education Banner® Check
output. After significant
research, and consulting with
other long time Banner®
clients, they chose Evisions.
According to Steve Barber,
IT Analyst Supervisor, St.
Lucie was having a lot of
problems when running their
check processes because every
time they jammed someone had
to back up the database, clean
up the tables and run checks
all over again…not a
very easy process. This wasted
a lot of valuable time, labor,
money and pre-printed check

and Payroll check solutions,
St. Lucie no longer deals
with paper jams, and they
do not use outdated impact
printers and continuous feed
forms. In the rare circumstances
where they need to run a
process over, they
can easily reprint whole checks
or a range of checks on inexpensive
blank laser check stock without
backing anything up. Training
is not an issue either. The
process runs directly from
Banner® Job Submission
and even "casual users
[with appropriate security]
can run checks by themselves,
because it is so easy…there
is no printer set up, no sheet
set up, and no operator intervention"
