Loyola
Marymount University was founded
in 1914 in the Westchester
area of Los Angeles. The University
is a comprehensive Catholic,
independent institution emphasizing
the liberal arts. LMU has
always been, above all, a
student centered university.
Loyola Marymount University
(LMU) became an Evisions customer
in 1999. After tremendously
positive experiences with
the product and support staff, LMU was sold on Evisions.
When told of the impending
release of FormFusion Suite
document enhancement and management
software, LMU insisted on
being one of the first educational
sites to implement. |

LMU
wanted to streamline the labor-intensive
process of scanning and inputting
student grades. They also
hoped to eliminate the exposure
to error associated with a
manual process and free their
staff from the need to perform
unnecessary data entry. Most
importantly, though, LMU wanted
to help their staff eliminate
wasteful processes and allow
them to focus on their educational
objectives. LMU was not satisfied
with Banner's® baseline
printed output. They wanted
the ability to print material
that was flexible, professional
looking, and representative
of the technologically advanced
nature of the LMU campus.
The need for purchasing large
quantities of pre-printed
forms and the inability to
easily modify Banner's®
printed output was a major

with digital form templates,
add information and graphics,
then transmit output to WEB,
printer, e-mail, or digital/CD
archive. New digital output
can be built from the ground-up
using provided design tools
and advanced database technology.
This suite of products offers
numerous options to increase
productivity and customer
service while reducing paper
and printing costs. |

exactly as they have always

out of our student information

previously inflexible Oracle
