Position: Professional Services Project Coordinator

Type: Full Time

Skills: The Project Coordinator is responsible for accomplishing project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities for the Professional Services Consulting and Development departments. The successful candidate will ensure the successful completion of projects for our clients using project management skills, tools and resources. The successful candidate will achieve human resource objectives by assisting with project orienting, assigning and scheduling Professional Services employees. The successful candidate will achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. The successful candidate will achieve financial objectives by identifying project requirements; analyzing project variances; and initiating corrective actions. As needed, the successful candidate will also assist the Professional Services department in providing custom report development when time permits. The successful candidate will act as subject matter expert on project management tools and techniques as they relate to Higher Education and Evisions’ current operations.

Position: Custom Report Developer

Type: Full Time

Skills: The Custom Report Developer is responsible for delivering custom reports and dashboards to our clients using the Argos Enterprise Reporting Solution. The successful candidate will develop requirements by working directly with client stakeholders then realize those requirements in the form of customized output. This includes, but is not limited to, data visualization methods such as charts, graphs, & OLAP and standard reports in PDF, excel, or other text-based formats. The successful candidate will help improve all processes related to the collection and delivery of these customized requests and will work closely with the Solutions Developers to recommend solutions opportunities based on the work with which they are involved. The successful candidate will act as subject matter expert on data sources, data elements, and data analysis as they relate to Higher Education and Evisions’ current operations. This position may require some travel.

Position: Consultant - Higher Education

Type: Full Time

Skills: Consultants for Higher Education require a broad and deep understanding of the Higher Education industry, including annual cycles for reporting and operations, best practices, and standard technologies adopted by institutions world-wide. This position’s primary responsibility is servicing our clients in strategic reporting initiatives, helping clients understand security and reporting best practices, managing client expectations, and ensuring client success through engaged consultation. This position also may be asked to deliver training and development. This position reports directly to the Manager of Consulting and Development. This position requires a minimum of 50% travel.

Skills: The Professional Services Higher Education Trainer is responsible for consulting and training services to meet client reporting needs in Latin America. Skills: The Java Developer is responsible for designing and developing application software. The developer will work in a small, close-knit, team environment. Successful candidates must be able to work alone, or as part the team, to develop software solutions (or enhance existing solutions) to meet client needs. This position is responsible for effectively communicating with the team and other departments. The developer must have the capability to creatively develop products to meet functional specifications.

The ability to develop software solutions requires advanced programming skills. Prior professional programming experience is required, including at least four years’ experience with Java. Experience writing applications using the Spring framework and Hibernate is also required.

Position: Software Support Analyst

Skills: The Software Support Analyst (SSA) is an entry level position with growth potential in a close knit, team oriented environment. The SSA will be responsible for customizing our software to client specifications and assisting clients with the implementation of our products. The ability to learn and process new information quickly while presenting a positive and professional image to our clients is a must. Our SSA’s work with various clients with a wide range of backgrounds so excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Our client contacts range from very experienced DBA’s and IT staff to non-technical management and executives.

The ability to customize our software solutions for our clients requires basic programming skills, knowledge of relational databases and SQL. This position contributes to the development of our software applications by providing feedback to our software development team as well as participating in the beta testing of new releases of our software products.

Position: Software Quality Assurance Analyst (Portland)

Location: Portland, Oregon

Type: Full Time

Skills: The role of Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for validating software features and functionality against documented requirements and functional specifications. The candidate is expected to prepare test strategies, and scripts for automated and manual test execution. Effectively detect, characterize, and communicate defects to development teammates and Product Management. Trace application behavior to its origins using available records (e.g. a requirements document, ticket, email, or conversation), effectively question design assumptions and perform requirements gap analysis. Extract expected product functionality from Subject Matter Experts when necessary. Gain an understanding of the functionality and technical constraints of our software. Act as one of the escalation points for technical issues reported by Support and other functional areas within the company.

Candidate will assist in defining standards and process to perform the appropriate functional, regression, integration and performance testing to deliver high quality results to internal and external users.
