Argos is a web enabled reporting solution designed from feedback of our Banner institutions utilizing Baseline, ODS and EDW. The result is a single, feature rich, user-friendly and easily implemented tool. Argos effectively meets reporting needs from simple ad hoc queries to advanced dashboards and data cubes. Argos was designed so users of all types can quickly access the information they need in the formats they want.

Argos will allow you to leverage the information contained in your databases, files, data warehouses and data marts. Argos can connect to many databases (Oracle, MS SQL*Server, MS Access, MySQL, DB2, etc.). Argos also has built-in functionality for scheduling and delivery which automates report distribution.

Argos offers flexible security implementation. This includes utilizing Oracle, Banner FUND/ORGN or Fine Grained Access security and can be integrated with you existing LDAP single sign-on environment. In addition, security can be drilled down to the field and row level.

Argos is easy to deploy and implement using the Argos COOP. The COOP is an on-line library of DataBlocks and reports created specifically for collaboration and sharing by Argos users at Universities and Colleges worldwide. Taking advantage of the DataBlocks and reports will allow institutions to implement Argos quickly and efficiently to minimize the strain on IT staff and resources.
