Evisions Conference 2026 brought together attendees from nearly 75 institutions across the higher ed community for three days of learning, collaboration, and connection in Denver. The event kicked off with a hands-on Argos workshop, followed by 50 sessions led by Evisions product experts and users. Attendees represented a wide range of roles across IT, institutional research, finance, admissions, and operations, all focused on unlocking the full value of their data across campus.
The sessions reflected exactly what Evisions Conference is designed for: helping institutions get more out of the tools they use daily while keeping pace with a rapidly changing higher ed environment.
A major focus was the evolution of Argos, especially with Argos X. Attendees explored how modern dashboards, improved user experiences, and enhanced capabilities are changing how data is accessed and shared across campus, while still building on the DataBlocks and foundations they already rely on.
AI also took center stage, with strong interest in how it can be applied in practical ways. From prompt engineering to AI-assisted SQL development, sessions showed how teams can accelerate reporting workflows, improve performance, and make data more accessible while maintaining governance and control. The ability for AI to interact directly with Argos DataBlocks highlighted what’s possible when speed and trust in data come together.
There was a clear shift from reporting to action throughout the sessions. Teams are no longer just generating reports, they are using them to drive outcomes. That showed up in the form of automated processes, workflow execution, and reduced manual effort across departments, with examples like mass updates, automated communications, and real-time monitoring dashboards.
Building on that, many sessions focused on optimization. Instead of starting from scratch, teams are refining what they already developed. From improving DataBlock structure and SQL performance to enhancing usability and design, attendees shared practical ways to make existing workflows faster, cleaner, and easier to maintain.
That foundation is what is enabling broader transformation, especially as institutions navigate SaaS and cloud transitions. Sessions highlighted how teams are modernizing legacy reporting environments, aligning with new data structures, and preparing for long-term scalability while still maintaining continuity for end users.
At the same time, institutions are expanding the scope of their data environments. There is growing interest in bringing in additional data sources through APIs and connectors, creating more flexible and complete reporting ecosystems that better reflect how their institutions operate.
"The entire experience at Evisions Conference was incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my work and contribute to such a meaningful community. It’s always inspiring to be in a space where professionals are so open to learning, collaborating, and pushing innovation forward."
In addition to these sessions, a major part of the conference is sharing Evisions’ product strategy, where attendees get a look at newly released features, what’s coming next, and how products are being built for the future. It’s an opportunity to connect what they’re doing today with where Evisions is headed, helping institutions plan with confidence.
This year’s roadmap focused on capabilities designed to help users work faster, remove barriers, and get more value from their data. Attendees saw how features like Explore Report Data make it easier to sort, filter, and analyze information in real time, while AI-enabled experiences like the Argos Data Agent allow users to ask questions in natural language and uncover patterns, trends, and outliers.
There was also a strong focus on how data is presented and shared, with enhancements to Dashboard Designer that introduce more advanced visualizations and more intuitive ways to tell data-driven stories.
Looking ahead, Evisions continues to invest in solutions that expand what’s possible, from Accelerators that bring together data for more actionable use, to ongoing enhancements across FormFusion and MAPS that support more flexible, connected environments.
“I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Evisions Conference. It was a great investment of time and an incredibly insightful experience. I’m especially looking forward to continuing to learn more about Argos X and diving deeper into the new dashboard capabilities. Excited to apply these insights in meaningful ways moving forward.”
Connection continues to be one of the most valued parts of Evisions Conference. Beyond the sessions, the agenda is designed to support it, with time built in throughout the day for networking and conversation.
Attendees connected directly with peers to talk through common challenges, share dashboards and workflows, and continue discussions from presentations.
The size of the conference makes those interactions feel natural and accessible, making it easy to ask questions, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections while also giving attendees direct access to Evisions product experts.
This year also marked the first time our Strategic Advisory Network met in person, bringing together higher ed technology leaders for dedicated time to connect. Representing a mix of strategic, technical, and operational roles, the group shared perspectives grounded in practical experience across their institutions.
Discussions touched on key areas like cloud transitions, AI adoption, product usability, and opportunities for continued innovation. More than a feedback session, it was an opportunity to exchange ideas, surface emerging needs, and strengthen the connection between the Evisions roadmap and the broader community.
In between days, attendees stepped away from sessions and headed to Coors Field for a night at the ballpark, watching the Colorado Rockies take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was a chance to unwind, connect in a more relaxed setting, and continue conversations outside of the conference rooms.
Throughout the conference, our partners, Invoke Learning, Higher Digital, OculusIT, and CoHEsion, were part of the experience, giving attendees more opportunities to connect, ask questions, and explore new ways to support their work across campus.
Evisions Conference continues to be a place where the higher ed community comes together to learn, share, and move forward. We’re already looking ahead to 2027 in New Orleans and the opportunity to build on that momentum with a refreshed agenda, bringing even more ideas, connections, and conversations.
