Dive deeper into budget reporting as Ball State University shows how it leverages Argos to report on two unique facets of Higher Education budgeting:

• A traditional budget-to-actuals variance based strictly on the University’s chart of accounts. These reports include built-in comparisons to prior years, as well as interactive charts.
• An RCM (Responsibility Center Management) budgeting model. This is an incentive-based model which uses ‘roll-up’ data from Finance, Banner Student, and Banner A/R. The reports, which contain some conditional formatting, compare a single college’s performance against other colleges (in BSU’s case, seven academic colleges).

The webinar is presented by Zach Mickler, Senior Director of University Budget Administration at Ball State. He also discusses how Argos enables them to send these reports dynamically to specific recipients, based on position number (as opposed to manually maintaining recipient e-mail addresses).
